Burial
By kind permission of the Wemyss Estate PAWS-R.I.P. has a natural woodland cemetery located within a red squirrel conservation area. Should you wish your pet to be buried here we would be pleased to arrange this. There are several options that we would be happy to discuss with you. You may wish to bury your pet in your own garden but for either physical or emotional reasons find this a difficult thing to do. We are pleased to be able to offer this service to you.
Exhumation
If your pet is already buried in your garden and you plan to move house but do not wish to leave your pet behind, we can - IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES – arrange for an exhumation followed by a cremation of remains or reburial.
Cremation
Should your much loved pet die at home we will collect him or her and arrange for an individual cremation to take place at our premises. The ashes will be returned to you in a scatterbox, a casket of your choice or we can scatter them in our pet cemetery on your behalf.
Sadly, if your pet has had to be put to sleep at your veterinary surgery we will collect him or her from their premises and return the ashes to them if you so wish. Again, this would be in a scatterbox or casket of your choice.
PLEASE be aware that your vet may have other arrangements in place for the disposal of animals, so ensure you make your wishes clear to them.
Pet Horses
If you have a pony or horse and would like cremated remains to be returned to you we can offer a discreet collection service and arrange for the cremation to take place on your behalf.
